It's the end of a busy couple of weeks and last night I came across this article on the Guardian website. It was one of those 'Ask Molly Ringwald' features. Someone was asking how they could stop being lazy and get motivated and as I've been feeling my own motivation start to slip away these past few days, I decided to give it a read.
Two sentences struck a chord with me;
"Your brain desperately needs the hormones that fire during exercise.."
and "..our living spaces are reflections of who we are."
Ok, well I know exercise is good for you both physically and mentally. I know that when I ran regularly, I felt and functioned better. I know that the 'runners buzz' you sometimes hear about is actually a thing and I know that surprisingly it's also addictive.
I also know that the first run is an utter bastard and isn't so much a run as a walk with the occasional Bambi-like, legs flailing everywhere, shuffle thrown in. Because no one tells you that you won't look like a proper runner at the beginning. I learned this the hard way when I caught sight of my shadow during my first run.
The image I had in my head of what I might look like (Paula Radcliffe having a gentle jog), was shattered as I saw my shadow self lolloping along in a slow Quasimodo style. But if you can past the lame excuses, the fact that you will not look like Paula Radcliffe (at least, not yet) and push yourself through that crappy first run, you'll find genuine enjoyment.
So yes, that will be happening this weekend. I will kill my demotivation dead with running.
And of course, the other thing I took from that article was the bit about our living spaces reflecting who we are.
It made me look around my living room and I saw, splashes of pretty, unfinished projects and a LOT of mess and clutter. Which pretty much sums up who I am perfectly I think. If I had to change anything from that little lot though it wouldn't be the mess or the clutter. Which shows how much I've changed in the past few years as I was a self confessed neat freak. Nowadays I view the mess as a sign that we're a family and I've written before about how bloody grateful I am for that, so no regrets there whatsoever. That said, perhaps I wouldn't be adverse to painting over the crayon and sticky hand prints on the wall now.
No, if I had to change anything it would be the unfinished projects. But as Alessi is now at a more independent age, we're finding that time is ours to play with again. That feels like a gift in itself. So I'm sure there will be more DIY and projects coming up in the not to distant future.
This post doesn't really have a point necessarily. But I've noticed that I've been self censoring what I write here lately. This blogs readership has grown over the past year which is what I'd always hoped for, but oddly this has made it harder for me to write as freely as I have in the past. So this morning, while Dan took Alessi out I thought I'd just sit down and write. The Molly Ringwald feature and my thoughts on it seemed perfect. Does it affect anyone else? No. Will it enhance anyones life? No. Is it even relatable? Probably not. Do I care about it? Why yes, yes I do. And that's the point.
I want to get this blog back to being what it was, a personal space for me to write shit. It isn't a platform to sell my work. I share my work here and on social media because it's a huge part of what I do and I bloody love it. But I don't make money from this blog. It's merely my spot on the internet to record my inner monologue of thoughts and today that includes Molly Ringwald, running and my living room.
I fully expect my next post to be about what a stupid idea running is, how I hate my living room and how Molly Ringwald can suck it. ;)

Taking comfort in the season that endures
Maybe it's because I was a winter baby or maybe because I'm a bit of a home bod at heart, but I'm one of the few people that genuinely loves the winter season, specifically, this latter part. The part that comes after the Christmas chaos and sees most of us feeling a little glum and well, over it.
Perhaps it's the unsocial part of my personality that loves it. It's an
unsociable season, or at least this part is. After Christmas there's little
money to throw around, the weather is gloomy and we return to our day to day
routines.
So I shouldn't love it as much as I do, but there is something deep in
my psyche that simply loves winter. As long as the weather doesn't take a turn
for the dangerous, I'm happy. Let the rain pour down and the howling wind blow.
I'll pull my scarf tighter around my neck and pour another coffee.
As I write this, the wind is blowing hard around the house and the rooms are dim without lights. I'm sat next to a window so I'm getting all the
light I need. When Dan returns from getting the food shop, I'll head down and
will have to turn on lights to see what we're doing.
Am I mad?
Perhaps it's because I know it won't last. It's just another season
doing exactly what it's supposed to. Perhaps I've simply managed to do what I
struggled with last year and I've finally connected with the seasons to the
point of truly feeling part of them?
Yes, I know that last sentence sounded self indulgent, but it would be
lovely if it were true.
I know there's not much going on outside. Nature can look barren and
depressing at this time of year. The weather can be harsh and the days dark,
but it's important to recognise the good that's around us too. And there is
good.
The days are getting slowly longer, the sun a little higher in the sky.
We'll be in for some worse weather before the warmth of spring returns, but it
is coming.
In the meantime, pick up a book, a blanket and a cup of something hot
and hunker down. Winter is for hibernating and taking stock whenever you can.
And when you can't, wrap up in warm, comforting clothes, put on an extra pair
of socks and throw yourself into it.
Summer will be here soon enough and no doubt people will then complain
that it's too hot and start yearning for the colder months again. Like the
fickle humans we are.

Lessons learned
Morning all. It's Monday which can only mean one thing, I'm sat at the table, coffee close by, going through the week in my head and hoping the day treats me kindly.
To be fair the last couple of weeks have been amazing, except for a brief illness blip. We're all better now though and compared to last year, it didn't last long. Seeing as last year's memories of a plague ridden house are still fresh in my mind, I'm very grateful for that.
Last night I was looking back at the posts I've written this past year. It's something I love doing around this time. I write down the highs of each month, or even the lows, whatever defined it. At first, it always seems very mundane. But by the end I end up with a journey written down in front of me and I even notice patterns repeating themselves which often lead to new lessons learned. Last night I learned two things. Things that have been playing on my mind on and off this year, but seeing in black and white in front of me, really made them impossible to ignore.
The first was about my work. I love being self employed and running The Dress Tree, but reading my posts from this past year has really brought home that some elements of running a business are not compatible with what makes me happy. This has been quite a wake up call and at some point this month I intend to take myself away for a few hours and brain storm how I can move forward with the business in a way that feels authentic to me. I'm excited as it feels quite freeing. Whether it will translate to a healthy business remains to be seen, but fingers crossed!
The other thing I noticed was that I feel a real disconnect when I'm not out in the country. It sounds like a bit of a cliche, but there it is. If you read this blog you'll have seen pictures of my trips to Wales and where I used to live. That leaves it's mark on a person. This one is trickier to remedy and I don't foresee a house move anytime soon. I have a few ideas up my sleeve though which I hope will help avoid the occasional blips in mojo that I seem to be suffering from at least twice a year.
Anyway, it's time to stop rambling and get moving.
Have a good day everyone.

Monday musings and conker collecting
We've had a lovely weekend. I caught up on all the sleep I've missed lately (please Alessi be kind to me this week!) we went on a woodland walk on the hunt for conkers and I even managed to make a start on the dining room table. And in between there was good food (Dan's been cooking), plenty of sunshine and a fair bit of lounging around. All ingredients for a happy weekend.
Now I'm looking at the week ahead and wondering where to start. I want to experiment with some fabric flowers and I'd like to try my hand at some embroidery too. As well as that I'd like to keep things moving project-wise so I guess they'll be more sanding at some point. And probably some pinning for upcycling inspiration..ha! Like I need an excuse to spend more time on Pinterest!
And then there's the usual office days, cooking, cleaning and toddler entertaining to juggle.
Well no one likes to be bored do they?

Summer catch up
I've left it far too long since my last post as we haven't got up to much. We're incredibly skint at the moment so there's been no summer holiday or festivals for us this year *cries*. So far my summer in a nutshell has consisted of keeping Pip entertained and cool, sewing and stuffing my face with fruit, Pimms and ice creams. That and wishing that we lived somewhere else, but that's a post for another day. For now here is a quick photo dump of my summer so far.
Personally I am loving this heat. I think I'm the only one, but we so rarely get decent summers so I refuse to complain about it.
Although, sometimes it got too hot to play so collapsing is the game of choice.
Having given up on ever being able to sew in my sewing room, this desk has become my portable studio.
One of the dresses I've made, to be listed soon.
Watching Alessi's independence grow everyday. Running and exploring are her favourite things.
Having a visit from my favourite Dutch girl. Come back E!
Watching Alessi make friends with the animals at the local farm. We need a goat.
Car boot sales. The one this morning was an absolute bust, but sometimes you can unearth the odd treasure.
Ice creams, lollipops and..
Eton messes!
Pumpkin peeking.
They'll be pumpkin pie this year. So happy.

7 Things I Love To Hate
So in case you hadn't noticed (ha!) it's Valentine's Day. And as my way to mark the occasion, here's my Valentine's Day post.
7 Things I Love To Hate
I get it Winter. You're cold and germy, you've made your point. Now please be a good little season and calm down a bit please?
2) Putting the chickens away at night and letting them out again in the morning
It's dark. It's cold. And more often than not, it's wet. I don't like it.
3) Cleaning out the chicken coop in the cold and wet
This is my least favourite job anyway, but when you're getting rained on to boot, the last thing you want to do is faff around with chicken poo.
4) Going off chocolate
This is linked to number 1. After our last bug, I've completely lost the taste for it. And as sitting down each afternoon with a cup of tea and a piece of something chocolaty was my top happy moment, this has peeved me no end.
5) Learning to cook
I'm learning to cook. I can't cook. My efforts taste awful. It's annoying.
6) People who park on the pavement without leaving enough space for a buggy to pass
If I'm brutally honest, this isn't something I ever noticed before having Pip, but now I see it a lot and it drives me mental. Especially if there is no way around the car without walking in to a busy main road meaning I have to turn around and find a safe place to cross. Bastards.
7) Being told I'll need to start dying my hair soon.
I feel the same way about this as I did when Kate Middleton was in the news because some silly beggar said that she ought to cut her hair now that she had turned 30. Aghast, pissed off and a bit depressed that we hold such limited views on what is considered beautiful.
The reason I was advised to start dying my hair was because I'd recently found a grey strand on my head. Considering I'm 34, I think that's pretty normal and if I do say so, kind of cool. Apparently though, it means my hair is condemned. Is it offensive to have grey hair under the age of 70? Don't get me wrong, I will dye my hair at some point because I like playing with hair colours (although I won't be trying blue again any time soon). But I don't like being told that I should dye my hair. It just makes my inner 16 year old get all rebellious and stompy.
In my mind's eye I've always thought that by the time I'm sixty, I will look something like this..
..although in all honesty I will probably look more like this.
So there you have it. A small selection of things that are currently making me go RAWR! I hope you enjoyed them. Happy Valentine's Day kids.

Champagne Thursday
Because Charlotte told me to.
Also as it's thanksgiving I thought it would be nice to reflect on some of the many things I'm grateful for at the moment. Big and small.
The Fam
Obviously. Whenever I think of what I'm thankful for, Hubbers and Pip are at the top of the list. Always.
Being warm and cosy
Right now I can hear the rain lashing down. While I was bathing Pip, Dan had to go into the attic to empty one of the many buckets we have to catch the drips. I can also hear the wind. If we don't get flushed out of our house tonight we might get blown away instead.
Tomorrow's weather forecast
Apparently it's going to be nice enough tomorrow afternoon for me and Pip to get out of the house for a bit. A weatherman on the telly said that so it must be true.
Chinese takeout
Some crispy aromatic duck is winging it's way to me as we speak. Feck yeah!
My dressing gown
It used to be oh so fluffy and soft. Now it's looking a bit shabby and has a bum patch. But when Pip wakes up in the night it's bloody cold and it feels like wrapping myself up in a duvet so I'll take it. Bum patch and all.
Hot chocolate
Enough said.
Crap TV shows
Merlin. 2 Broke Girls. New Girl. The Big Bang Theory. How I Met Your Mother. Judge away if you wish, I love them all.
Plans and dreams
My buoy when I'm barely keeping afloat in a giant sea of daily routine.
Our health
We have colds. Nothing makes you appreciate a cold-less baby more than when you're staring at one who has just sneezed a snot bubble.
Friends
The ones who keep your feet on the ground, put a smile on your face and a drink in your hand are nothing short of priceless.
P.S. I know I didn't use Champagne..it's actually rose wine spritzer. But it was fizzy!

Why I blog
Anyone ever used Livejournal? I used it for years until I eventually grew tired of it. There it sat, all neglected in it's dusty corner of the internet and I completely forgot all about it until last week when a couple of emails landed in my inbox. One was from a spambot leaving a comment on a post I'd written years ago and the other was an update about my photo galleries.
What followed was a nostalgia filled couple of hours going through old forgotten photos and reading the blog post about the 101 different things I wanted to achieve before I hit my next birthday. It was heart warming, tear inducing and toe curlingly cringe worthy all at the same time.
I got to peer back into my past and remember what my life was like at that particular moment in time.
And the funny thing is I kind of remember that time, but not like that. Over time my memory has faded and left holes which I've filled with things that didn't actually happen. That blog post and the photos showed me how it really was, how it really looked. Another post reminded me of another day that I thought I had actually remembered quite well. Over the years I've convinced myself that the day was tough going at the time, but wasn't such a big deal at the end of it all. Reading the words I wrote on that date however has made me realise exactly how bad it got, how it has stayed with me in subtle ways ever since and has actually had a hand in shaping who I am today. In a positive way as it turns out. It's both humbling and eye opening.
Not only does blogging provide me with a way to express myself, to share my thoughts and ideas with like minded people, but I also have a golden opportunity to save my life in a way that I can return to it whenever I want. I can remember exactly what I did in a certain year and how I felt.
And the more I re-visit these posts, the more intact my memories shall remain. It will also serve as a regular reminder of how far I've come in life and how much I have to be thankful for.
And that ladies and gentlemen, is why I blog.

So would it make me the worst mother in the world to admit that I didn't miss her?
To clarify, I thought of her a lot. I checked up on her a lot. But I didn't actually miss her. Perhaps it was because I knew she was with someone that I could not only trust 100% but someone who would spoil her rotten with cuddles should she need them..and probably even if she didn't!
For some reason, knowing that she was going to get so much attention and love showered on her, made any anxiety I had disappear and I was able to enjoy my time away.
I'm going to be honest, I feel quite guilty for not missing her and a little voice in my head is telling me that I'm a bad mother for it.
All that said, it was lovely walking back in the house and seeing her smiling face and I'm sure she's got bigger over the past couple of days.
And if I am a bad mother then hey, don't worry. I am feeling pretty bloody awful so Karma wins.
If there are things I miss from my pre-motherhood days then hangovers are not one of them.

My Sunday in pictures
Today I have been mainly sowing seeds..
..and working on my assignment. Do you like my new desk? Some days my exercise ball is the only thing that I can sit on comfortably. On such days, the armchair then becomes my table.
I know what I'll be doing tomorrow..maternity leave rocks my socks!

A Little Insight
A little light hearted fun for a Monday evening. I was tagged by the lovely Fritha of Tigerlilly Quinn.
The Rules
1. Post these rules
2. Post 11 random things about yourself
3. Answer the questions provided by the one who tagged you
4. Create 11 new questions for the people you tag
5. Go to their blog and tell them they've been tagged!
Eleven Random Things About Myself
- I am pretty short, 5ft nothing to be precise.
- One of my favourite ways to accessorise is to paint my nails. However, I am TERRIBLE at it, even after years of practice.
- I hate my teeth, but feel too old for braces.
- After living in Wales for 21 years, waay out in the sticks, I thought moving to London was the best thing ever. I then spent the next two years dreaming about moving back to the country, surrounded by trees, birdsong and greenery. There's just no pleasing some people.
- I have my father's eyes,
- And my mum's cheekbones.
- I don't believe in god, Jesus, the devil, heaven or hell, but will use them as swear words. ALL the time.
- I swear more than I should.
- I can't do anything with my hair.
- Despite hating it with a passion, I can't bring myself to delete my Facebook account. Or stop myself from checking it every day.
- I love Twitter.
My Questions from Fritha
1. What is your favourite food?
This is going to disgust a lot of people, but the truth of it is that my all time favourite food is a good old greasy donor kebab. With some cabbage and lemon juice. Lush. I don't eat too many though, for obvious reasons!
2. What makes you happiest?
Cuddles from Dan, crafting, listening to good music, sitting in the sun with a cup of coffee, feeling that you've got all the time in the world.
3. What was is your current obsession?
Pregnancy I'm afraid. I'm due in a few weeks so I'm desperately trying to get myself organised and it's just not happening.
4. What was the first gig you went to?
Red Hot Chili Peppers, which is interesting seeing as I can't stand them.
5. What was your worst job?
Without a shadow of a doubt, it was working for a company selling international phone cards in London. The hours were horrible, the commute was long, the people were mean and I was very unhappy. But I was young and inexperienced so I took a lot of crap before I eventually plucked up the courage to leave.
6. What is one song you feel most connected to?
Easy! It has to be "Go Your Own Way" It's a song that I've loved with ever since I found my mum's old Fleetwood Mac record. And I am absolutely stoked that Lissie has released a cover which is simply awesome. It's going on Pip's playlist for sure.
7. If you could live anywhere where would it be?
Vancouver in Canada. It's such a beautiful place, full of some of the friendliest people you could ever meet.
8. What inspires you?
Music, crafts, other people's blogs and the countryside.
9. What's your favourite way to celebrate?
Eat some good food and drink some good plonk!
10. If there was one thing you could tell your 16 year old self what would it be?
"Hold on. It all gets better. And be nicer to mum"
11. What would your super power be?
To fly! I dream sometimes that I can fly and when I do, it always leaves me feeling really peaceful and free. I get quite annoyed when I wake up and remember that I'm stuck on the ground with just my little legs to get me about.
Eleven Questions For Those I've Tagged
1. What would be your ideal job?
2. What's your guilty pleasure music-wise?
3. What's your favourite way to pass the time?
4. What's your biggest pet peeve?
5. Facebook or Twitter?
6. What makes you laugh?
7. Describe an ideal day.
8. What's your biggest achievement to date?
9. Dresses or jeans?
10. If you could create a new law, what would it be?
11. Favourite holiday? (Christmas, Halloween, Easter etc)
And I tag..

It was a very good year
As it's the end of 2011 I thought it would be nice to go through my blog and take a look back over the past year. And I'm so glad I did as I'm quite surprised by what I've learnt.
At the start of 2011 I felt well and truly stuck in a rut, but with no clue as to what was causing it or what I wanted to do to change things. There was a lot of moaning done about the weather and the dark winter days. On the bright side, we did get to see Band of Horses play in Bristol and it remains to be the best gig we went to during 2011. So beautiful.
Spring saw optimism start to creep back into my blog. I got my chickens (finally!) and finished a granny square blanket that I'd been working on for nearly two years. It was a small achievement, but one that I was proud of nonetheless.
I also started missing my old business and desperately wanted to start it up again. I had a vague plan in mind, but nothing solid.
After taking part in a craft fair and selling off my old stock I set about making some new items for the shop.
However, my vague plan had remained just that, so by mid-summer they had soon sold out and unfortunately the shop has remained empty ever since.
However, my vague plan had remained just that, so by mid-summer they had soon sold out and unfortunately the shop has remained empty ever since.
We got the chance to go to Glastonbury at the last minute (I became Stephanie Kitchen for the day), started making plans for a road trip across America and enjoyed a cracking camping weekend with friends.
It was after this camping trip that I made the rather surprising discovery that I was pregnant. Without going in to it too much, the start of the pregnancy was pretty stressful. That along with the usual nausea and tiredness meant that I had no energy or desire to do anything, so I took a break from many things, including this blog.
By the autumn the dreaded first trimester was over, the pregnancy stresses were thankfully no longer an issue and so I returned with renewed energy.
However, regular readers may have noticed that despite the renewed energy, I have been posting a lot less since then. The reason for this was a dressmaking course which I started in September.
So far, I've completed nine out of eleven assignments. With only two more assignments and the final examination left to go, I'm well I'm on track to have it all done and dusted long before Pip arrives *touch wood!*

However, regular readers may have noticed that despite the renewed energy, I have been posting a lot less since then. The reason for this was a dressmaking course which I started in September.
As well as working on the various assignments, I've also been working through a massive 'to do list' which I frequently refer to as, The Beast List.
Basically I took all my other existing lists, the winter list, the New Year list, the things to do before Pip arrives list and merged them altogether to create the mother of all lists, The Beast List!
It's taking some time as it has over 70 items on it, but we're getting there.
And this pretty much brings us up to date. It's been an odd year really. Not a great deal has happened and yet, so much has changed.
It's taking some time as it has over 70 items on it, but we're getting there.
And this pretty much brings us up to date. It's been an odd year really. Not a great deal has happened and yet, so much has changed.
And what have I learnt from it?
Well lesson one clearly has to be that I have a problem when it comes to making lists! I really ought to stick to one main list and then daily to do lists rather than have four or five on the go. That way I might actually get to complete one of them and stop myself from feeling stressed out for not achieving anything despite being constantly busy.
Lesson two would be to take more photos. Not just photos for this blog, but of my day to day life too. It doesn't matter if the weather is miserable, if the house is a mess or if I have spots on my face. One of the photos I included above was taken by Dan during the summer when I was two months pregnant. I'm sat at the bottom of the garden feeling sorry for myself. I felt awful and was unhappy that there were so many things I wanted to do, but just couldn't. That may not sound like a moment you'd want to remember, but when I found it, I spent a good few minutes staring at it, recalling how it felt and remembering things I'd already clean forgotten about. All because of the power of photography. So there you have it, lesson two is that you should always take photos of your life. The good, the bad, and the spotty.
Lesson three would be to go easier on myself when it comes to setting goals. I'm a big goal setter and to give myself a little credit, if there's something I really want to achieve, I will usually succeed eventually.
However I almost always underestimate how long something will take, or I will set my sights too high and make my goals too ambitious and I will always, without a shadow of a doubt, forget to allow myself any time to relax and do other things. All that leads me to feel burnt out pretty quickly and again, as with the to do lists, I end up feeling stressed out when I try (and fail) to get everything done in time to meet the deadlines I've set myself.
So in short, 2011 has taught me to make my to do lists shorter, take photos of everything and make my goals a little more realistic.
2012 has got it's work cut out to beat this one and I can't wait to see what it has in store. The good, the bad and yup, you guessed it.
The downright spotty!

Christmas sneak peek
Home is where the heart is and my heart lives behind this front door.
Early morning driving
Christmas Day carnage at the In-Laws..our tree is better
Surprise gift from Dan. Didn't even know it existed, but I love it. And yes, it's as twee as it looks!
Dan's mum stocked up on my favourite sweets because she's ace.
My current view when I look down. I'm fairly sure it's about 30% baby, 20% turkey and 50% Refreshers by now.
This little beauty is a praline and cream latte from Costa. I'm getting as many of them in while I can.
And don't worry, it's decaff.
Now we are home and I'm looking forward to enjoying the rest of the Christmas holiday.
I hope you all had a good one! x

It's only bloody Christmas!
Today, at precisely 11.45am and 0 seconds, it finally started to feel like Christmas around here.
And why you might ask? Because I finished work for the holidays! Gingerbread biscuits and Roses chocolates have been consumed, hot chocolate has been drunk, presents have been wrapped and Christmas music has been played.
IT'S OFFICIALLY CHRISTMAS TIME Y'ALL!
Happy Christmas Eve, Eve everyone!
Hot chocolate and gingerbread biscuit break after present wrapping.
My crochet snowflakes that still have not been made in to a garland and I fear, probably won't be.
My tree!
Roses chocolates, obligatory Christmas treats.
And my favourite card that we received. Although technically, it isn't actually ours. Every year we get a card for a couple who lived here years and years ago. They never have a fowarding address on them so we have no way to let the senders know that they've moved on. But I fell in love with this card and so we've kept it.
Happy Christmas Eve, Eve everyone!

Evil cat is coming for you!
This cat has nothing to do with anything by the way. I just like him.
Oh my gosh, you know those days when you find yourself trying to decide whether to bang your head against a brick wall or just burst into tears? Well I've had four days like that so far. FOUR. And folks, I'm so tired. I'm pleased to say though that I have neither inflicted a brick wall upon my head nor shed a tear, but it's been close!
Those of you who follow me on Twitter will already know that I'm doing a dressmaking course. You will also know that it is not going well. Not at all.
The problems start whenever I have to complete an assignment at the end of a section. The assignments are shall we say, not written for beginners. Actually I'd go to far as to say that they're not written for accomplished sewers either, but I won't bore you with the details. Let's just say they're stupid and I want to beat the person who put the course together with a soggy bog brush.
Looking on the bright side, tomorrow we have our 20 week scan...this one's the biggy. It's the one where we'll find out the flavour (yay!) and will see if everything is as it should be (eep!).
Yet another bright side, not at all related to dressmaking courses or anomaly scans, is that I have a tub of Ben & Jerry's ice cream in the freezer. And it's calling my name..

And there I was, gone.
As you read this I will be at the Glastonbury festival. BOO YA!
Earlier this week we were offered tickets for today, an unexpected and scream-out-loud surprise. So that's where I am, soaking up as much of it as I can..and probably getting soaked in the process too.
In the meantime, here are some photos of last year's festival. A far less soggier affair..
I'm going to post more photos of my Glastonbury trip soon so if you like this post, keep your eyes peeled.

5am start..I did not deal well with it.
There was dust everywhere, it made for pretty pictures though.
One of my favourite moments, just relaxing with Dan in a field looking down on the festival.
Mandatory flag pic.
Well helloo.
Dan with a hand full of moon.
Dan doing some more relaxing..all that enjoying ourselves was quite tiring don't you know.
Watching the England game, I was more interested in the crowd. Just look at 'em all!
It was here we 'discovered' Sam Brookes. Well come on, I haven't mentioned him on here in weeks, we were over due. Get it? In Weeks? Thank you, thank you.
And let's end this for now with a hula hooping indian.
I'm going to post more photos of my Glastonbury trip soon so if you like this post, keep your eyes peeled.
